What you can report
- · Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or IP rights you hold
- · Defamatory, obscene, or unlawful content
- · Personal data shown without consent
- · Content that violates the IT Act, 2000 or DPDP Act, 2023
- · Court-ordered takedown requests
- · Misleading attribution or sourcing errors
- · Removal of your RSS feed or any other automated source
How to file
- 1. Email [email protected] with subject "Grievance: [your concern]"
- 2. Identify the content (URL on Bataoo) you wish to report
- 3. State the nature of the complaint and the legal basis
- 4. If you are the rights holder, include proof of authority (or a counsel's letter)
- 5. Provide your name + contact for correspondence
Our timeline
- · Acknowledgement: within 24 hours of receipt
- · Resolution: within 15 days, per IT Rules 2021 Rule 3(2)(a)
- · Court-ordered or statutory removal: within 36 hours
- · Egregious harm (CSAM, doxing, threats): immediate
